KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – State Water Heaters, a leading manufacturer of commercial and residential water heaters, has renewed its partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), the title-winning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team co-owned by three-time Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart and Haas Automation founder Gene Haas.

State Water Heaters will serve as the primary sponsor of 2004 Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch and the No. 41 team during the Bank of America 500 Sprint Cup race weekend Oct. 10-11 at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, and as an associate sponsor throughout the 2014 season with the State Water Heaters logo appearing on the C-post of the No. 41 Chevy and on the chest of Busch’s firesuit.

“State Water Heaters has a rich history of building quality products for the plumbing industry, and we’ve developed strong relationships with our wholesalers and contractors. We’re proud to continue our relationship with SHR where we’re able to engage our customers with a unique and exciting experience,” said Jeff Storie, senior marketing manager, State Water Heaters. “Since working with SHR last year we’ve launched some great new water heaters and seen growth in traffic for our Find a Local Installer tool on www.StateWaterHeaters.com. We look forward to building a lasting relationship with Kurt Busch and the rest of the SHR team to raise awareness among NASCAR fans about State products and our loyal contractors.”

For more than 60 years, State Water Heaters has stood for durability. Tested under the toughest conditions in the most hostile environments, State Water Heaters builds long-lasting products that provide years of service. The Ashland City, Tenn.-based company has sponsored NASCAR teams since 2006.

“State Water Heaters has been a great partner for Stewart-Haas Racing and we welcome them back for another year as we continue to build a winning partnership,” Stewart said. “State Water Heaters is a deep-rooted company that delivers quality products and service to its customers. Testimonials

In my 20 years in the business, I've worked with literally dozens of public relations people of varying skills and abilities. Without question, Mike Arning and the team at True Speed Communication are champions in the sport, a group that is among the very best of the best.

The True Speed team gives me everything I need – access, high-quality and useful information, fast responses to questions and nothing I don't. They don't just help make my job easier; the important thing is that they help me do my job better, something that many of their competitors would be well advised to learn from and emulate.

And no one works harder than True Speed. These guys aren't here to collect a paycheck or a fee, they are here to be the best at what they do. That's something I can certainly relate to and worthy of a tremendous amount of respect and admiration. Mike and his team work harder than the competition. The results show it, just like on the track."
